Warner, Alberta, Canada
Brian Otto and his wife Carolyn operate a third generation family farm east of Warner, Alberta, traditionally growing barley, triticale, safflower, and lentils on their 4,200 acre dryland farm. Brian has extensive training and experience in agriculture, sitting on numerous review and advisory committees which advocate for helping promote barley production. Brian was an honourary recipient of the Queen Elizabeth II Diamond Jubilee Medal for forward-thinking, compassionate and caring individuals in the spirit of agriculture.
